This guitar features a Taylor dreadnought body style, offering a robust sound profile ideal for versatile play. It lacks a cutaway, preserving the full body shape for enhanced resonance. The top is crafted from solid Sitka spruce, known for its strength and tonal clarity, while the back and sides are layered walnut, providing a warm, balanced tone. Taylor's Standard II Bracing with a Forward Shift Pattern enhances sustain and resonance, and a Satin Varnish finish adds a sleek, refined look. The guitar is right-handed.

The neck sports Taylor's standard profile and is crafted from hard rock maple for stability and smooth playability. A genuine African ebony fingerboard complements the design, and the nut width is 1-11/16" (42.8 mm), allowing for comfortable finger positioning. The scale length is 25-1/2", and there are 20 frets available. Like the body, the neck is also finished with Satin Varnish, enhancing its feel and appearance.

Equipped with Taylor's Expression System 2 electronics, this guitar features a behind-the-saddle transducer with adjustable sensors, offering professional-grade audio output. Controls include volume, active bass, and treble EQ, along with an onboard phase switch for reducing feedback.

Additional appointments include a West African ebony headstock overlay, chrome tuning machines with matching chrome buttons, and an ebony bridge.
