Taylor Next Generation 314ce

The Next Generation 314ce ushers in a fresh chapter of Taylor tone by updating the classic Grand Auditorium with Claria electronics and a deeper, warmer voice. It preserves the familiar formula of a sweet, dynamic Sitka spruce top and the crisp, defined response of sapele back and sides, while Scalloped V-Class bracing adds X-brace-inspired low-end depth and greater resonance without sacrificing the design’s signature balance and projection. Taylor’s Claria under-saddle system delivers natural amplified tone with convenient soundhole-mounted Volume, Tone, and Mid-Contour controls. The mahogany Standard Carve neck, topped with an ebony fretboard, features the Action Control system for easy neck-angle adjustments that refine action and enhance resonance. The result is a versatile, stage-ready Grand Auditorium that blends time-tested Taylor craftsmanship with modern refinements.
