The guitar boasts a richer, more vibrant voice than ever before thanks to customized bracing and custom-tailored wood thickness. Taylor has also used real protein glue instead of synthetic adhesives to create a stronger construction and more open, vibrant tone. The Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides provide a light and expressive sound, as well as a rich, vibrant sound with exceptional projection. The Advanced Performance bracing pattern gives the guitar a classic dreadnought tone with crisp highs and powerful lows.
